More than a thousand college students took part in a bicycle rally to welcome the Tamil Nadu government’s Manjapai project. The students were accompanied by the Nagai District Collector and the President of the Tamil Nadu Fish Development Corporation on a bicycle.
The Manjapai project brought by the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu has been well received by the public. In this situation, more than a thousand students of Nagai EGS Pillai College went on a bicycle rally to welcome the Manjapai project.
Nagai District Collector Arun Thamburaj and Tamil Nadu Fisheries Development Corporation Chairman Gautham inaugurated the cycle rally which started from Nagore Roundabout. The district collector and the chairman of the Fish Development Association, who started the rally, cycled 8 km with the students to create awareness.
The students who went to hang the yellow bag on the bicycle to create a plastic-free Tamil Nadu insisted that everyone should return to the use of the yellow bag to restore greenery. The rally started in Nagore and ended at Nagai Puthur Roundabout.
