Amritsar: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief ministerial candidate Bhagwant Singh Mann on Monday slammed Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi for mocking him for being a Congress circus in Punjab. ‘The role of a monkey is empty in our circus. Aam Aadmi Party is welcome to join it. We welcome anyone from Delhi, Haryana or UP.
The fight is four-cornered in the state, which will go to the polls on the 20th of this month. The Congress, the Aam Aadmi Party, the BJP-Punjab Lok Congress alliance and the Akali Dal-BSP alliance are contesting. There is also a Samyukta Samaj Morcha with the support of farmers’ organizations.
