“Give Five!” Charity Marathon raises Over €82,000 for Children with movement Disorders
The Latvian Public Media’s annual charity drive, “Give Five!”, has already garnered over €82,000 in its first day to support children and young people facing neurological movement disorders, highlighting the critical need for accessible rehabilitation services.

The marathon also highlighted the story of Mason, whose grandmother, Jana, expressed hope that he will one day play football. “We very much hope that Mason will one day be able to fulfill his dream,” Jana stated, thanking the community and the Poga center for their support.Another donor, Madara, mother of Karl, who has functional disorders, emphasized the joy found in small victories, noting that even simple tasks like buttoning a shirt are celebrated. “Little by little, with small steps, we celebrate those small victories,” she said.
