California: Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Facebook’s parent company Meta, has lost more than half of his net worth in the past two years. So he is ranked 22nd in the list of the world’s richest people. This is revealed by Bloomberg and Forbes website’s list of the world’s richest people.

Based on the information released in the third quarter of the current year, it appears that Mark Zuckerberg has seen a setback. His current net worth is reported to be less than what he had as of 2014. His net worth has fallen to $55.9 billion from $106 billion. And that too in the last two years he has suffered this decline.

Meta faced losses of around US$71 billion. Half of it is said to be his. But Zuckerberg appears to be among the wealthy who lost their fortunes.

Elon Musk, who is known as the world’s number one richest man, has lost 6 billion US dollars in his wealth. Bill Gates has lost $27 billion, Melinda Gates $26 billion, and Jeff Bezos $46 billion.

In particular, it has been reported that Zuckerberg has faced a decline in asset value after Facebook changed its name to Meta. So it seems that he has been pushed back in the list of the world’s richest people.
