TikTok Star Marquay The Goat’s Death Linked to November Car Crash, Coroner Says

A rising TikTok personality, known as Marquay The Goat, tragically passed away Wednesday, and authorities now believe his death is connected to injuries sustained in a car accident earlier this month.
The Muscogee County Coroner, Buddy Bryan, confirmed to news outlets that Marquay Collins, 22, was found deceased at his residence. While the official cause of death remains undetermined pending further investigation, Bryan strongly suspects a link to a November 7th collision.
Details of the November 7th Incident
According to the coroner, Collins was involved in a car crash on November 7th and briefly hospitalized. He was evaluated and discharged the same day, but subsequently began experiencing debilitating symptoms. “He began complaining of headaches, along with neck, shoulder and spine pain,” Bryan stated. Prior to his death, Collins also reportedly told his brother he was suffering from shortness of breath and persistent headaches.

Remarkably, Collins documented the immediate aftermath of the November 7th incident on his TikTok account, @marquaythegoat. A video posted that same day shows him standing beside his damaged vehicle on a roadside in Atlanta, applying an ice pack to his head. He alleges a Tesla collided with the rear of his car.
The video reveals significant damage to Collins’ vehicle, with a visibly crushed bumper. A tow truck is seen preparing to haul away the Tesla. In the video, Collins describes his condition, stating, “my head is literally killing me right now,” and elaborating that his head is “banging” and “throbbing so hard.”
Autopsy and Ongoing Investigation
Despite the initial medical evaluation following the crash, Bryan believes the injuries sustained on November 7th ultimately contributed to Collins’ death. “While Marquay’s case has formally been ruled undetermined… I believe Marquay’s death is accident-related,” Bryan explained.
Authorities are now transporting Collins’ body to the Georgia Bureau of Investigations for a comprehensive autopsy. The investigation remains active, and officials are working to determine the full extent to which the car accident factored into his untimely passing.
