Maruti Suzuki hits a new milestone in Indian sales

Maruti Suzuki India Limited, a subsidiary of Suzuki Motor Corporation, has achieved the sales target of 25 million units in the Indian market. Maruti Suzuki has announced that this milestone has been achieved on 9th January. By 1983, Maruti Suzuki launched its first car, the Maruti 800.

The Grand Vitara is Maruti Suzuki’s 25th millionth unit in the Indian market. Maruti 800 model has been well received in the market. Maruti Suzuki is currently selling 17 vehicles in the Indian market.

These include petrol and CNG models. The production and sale of these cars takes place locally. By February last year, Maruti Suzuki had sold a staggering 10 lakh CNG cars.

Maruti Suzuki launched the Fronx and Jimny models at the recently concluded Auto Expo 2023. Bookings for both the cars are already open. Expect sales of both models to start soon.
