A wind of change is blowing in Turin as Italian media report that a decision has been made by the Juventus board to replace Massiliano Allegri, with Thiago Motta the early favorite to succeed him.

Another year for Juventus is not going the way their fans are used to, as the “Vecia Signora” will remain a third consecutive season away from a trophy if they fail to beat Atalanta in the Coppa Italia final and a fourth without became champion of Italy.

Juventus’ future does not include Massimiliano Allegri on the bench, according to Gianluca Di Marzio, with management eyeing the manager who has guided this season’s surprise Serie A side Bologna, Thiago Motta, to fourth place after 33rd competition.

However, the case of the Italian technician is not an easy one, since Milan also has him high on their list to replace Stefano Pioli.
