Comedian Maxim Galkin (included in the list of foreign agents in the Russian Federation) said that after leaving Russia, the only country with which he had problems organizing concerts was Kazakhstan. On the social network, the artist said that for several months now his team has been trying to coordinate concerts in Astana and Alma-Ata, but “at the state level, they are preventing in every way.”

According to Galkin, he decided to share this problem with subscribers, “to please the spiteful critics – they also have to rejoice sometimes.” The comedian said that at first there were no signs of difficulties, tickets were sold, but then refusals allegedly began on far-fetched grounds, “behind the scenes bans.”

“At the moment, at the state level, there is actually an unspoken ban,” Galkin said. “I thought that the authorities of Kazakhstan feel somehow more freely in the current world situation, but no.”

He added that he loves this country and its people very much, who over the past year and a half have sent him words of support against the backdrop of “the situation that has developed around my family.” Galkin expressed confidence that one day he would come to Kazakhstan and perform for the local audience.
