The administrative body of the Missan Oil Club denounced the decisions of the refereeing team for its team’s match against Al-Zawraa for the 27th round of the Stars League, led by referee Salem Amer.
A statement from the media office of the Missan Oil Club, received by the (INA), stated that “The Missan Oil Administration will send a complaint against referee Salem Amer to the Football Association in order to prevent him from refereeing any match for our team in the future, as a result of his clear injustice against our team in our match against Al-Zawraa and previous matches.” Which he led, in addition to his failure to protect our players from actions that have no connection to sports.”
The statement added, “There were refereeing cases that occurred in the match that clearly affected its result and confiscated the efforts of our players and coaching staff, including: (Replaying the Al-Zawraa penalty kick after our goalkeeper Mahdi Hashim returned it despite the players not entering and the goalkeeper not advancing. Al-Zawraa’s second goal was illegal due to a handball on the ball.”) The Al-Zawraa defender, and the presence of aggression and provocation by the ball catchers belonging to the age group teams in the Al-Zawraa club towards our goalkeeper Amjad Rahim led to the expulsion case, and therefore the referee Salem Amer did not protect the goalkeeper, and the Al-Zawraa player Hassan Abdel Karim intervened forcefully against our player Alaa Saad, and the referee overlooked the announcement of the yellow card or red).
