General Sergei Surovikin was detained by the counterintelligence of the Russian Federation without charge, according to the Russian edition of Layout.

According to sources of the publication, the deputy commander of the Russian troops in Ukraine is being interrogated on suspicion of involvement in the organization of the rebellion of the leader of the Wagner PMC Yevgeny Prigozhin, but in fact no charges have been brought against him yet.

Sergei Surovikin has not appeared in public since the Wagner PMC rebellion.
