Role Overview & Responsibilities

the Medical Coordinator will serve as the initial point of contact for patients within the outpatient clinic setting. Key responsibilities include supporting clinic operations through patient scheduling and registration, managing patient flow, and providing direct assistance with exam room planning, vital sign collection, and the review of patient allergy and medication information.

Location, Schedule & Compensation

The position is located at MSK Nassau, 1101 Hempstead Turnpike, Uniondale, NY 11553. The schedule consists of 10-hour shifts, four days per week, and is fully onsite. Hours of operation vary between 6:00 am and 10:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend shifts. Schedules are provided one week in advance, and a degree of flexibility is expected.

The pay range for this non-exempt position is $23.54 to $35.44 per hour.

Qualifications & core Skills

Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least one year of relevant experience in healthcare, customer service, or a patient-facing role. The ability to work onsite in a clinical environment and perform basic clinical tasks, such as taking vital signs, is essential.
