It is worth mentioning that the nursing staff acted immediately, applying the security protocol in collaboration with the hospital’s civil protection team. As a preventive measure, the area was evacuated.

The general director highlighted that, upon receiving the report, the maintenance staff took immediate action, closing the secondary flow valve of the office in question. The part was replaced and the office was fully operational again that same day.

He explained that the equipment receives maintenance in accordance with regulations, since “the safety and well-being of patients and staff, as well as strict adherence to regulations, is our top priority.”
