Representatives of the Russian delegation will wait for a response from Ukraine regarding the start of the negotiation process until 15:00 Sunday. This statement was made by the head of the Russian delegation Vladimir Medinsky.
“Until 15:00, we will continue to be here and wait for confirmation from the Ukrainian side of their own decision to leave for negotiations in Gomel,” Medinsky said, quoted by the TASS news agency.
The head of the delegation announced his readiness to meet with representatives of Ukraine as soon as confirmation was received from them.
Recall, on February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the start of a special operation in Ukraine, the purpose of which is the demilitarization and denazification of the country.
