“The injuries form part of our suspicions around her death,” Detective Inspector rogers stated.
Police are currently interviewing multiple individuals as part of their ongoing investigation, but no arrests have been made at this time. Authorities are urging anyone with details to come forward. “There’s a number of inquiries we’ll keep an open mind about… if anyone’s heard anything or has any information regarding Megan, we would urge them to come forward,” Detective Inspector Rogers added.
Family Devastated by Loss
The death has deeply impacted Tangye’s family. Her sister-in-law, Erin Russell, described the 31-year-old as a “beautiful, nurturing soul.”
“Megan was always so kind and caring,” Russell said.”She would always be the first person to check in on others.”
Russell conveyed the family’s commitment to seeking justice for Tangye. “This has hit very close to home; we’re not coping so well right now,” she said. “But we’re not going to let this defeat us.”

Forensic investigators were observed at the Gore Street property as they gathered evidence.Detective Inspector Rogers emphasized that providing support to Tangye’s family is a priority during this tough time.
