During this time, the specialists of the Ministry of Sports Medicine were in daily contact with the Ministry of Health, participated in consultations to understand what kind of medical care should be provided, where it should be provided and what kind of free help athletes can get.
According to RA Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Karen Giloyan, without high-quality medical care, expecting results in modern sports is simply from the genre of fantasy. “There needs to be good medical care for both injury treatment, general fitness and research to keep athletes competitive and in good shape.”
Hospital services will be organized in all medical organizations where the Ministry of Health has placed a state order.

It should be noted that the Department of Sports Medicine opened in the polyclinic of the “St. Grigor Lusavorich” Medical Center operates for athletes, which is fully furnished and equipped with the necessary medical devices.
