Penn Men’s Tennis Announces Challenging 2026 Spring Schedule

A rigorous schedule awaits the University of Pennsylvania men’s tennis team in 2026, following a successful fall season. The team will face a diverse range of opponents, from service academies to Ivy League rivals, as they compete for victory throughout the spring.

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The University of Pennsylvania men’s tennis team has unveiled its full schedule for the 2026 spring season, promising a challenging slate of matches against a variety of opponents. The Quakers will look to build on the momentum of a highly successful fall season as they embark on a journey that will test their skills and resilience.

Early Season Tests and Road Swing

The Red and Blue will kick off their spring campaign at home on Sunday, January 18th, hosting Navy. The remainder of January will see the team hitting the road, with contests scheduled against Arkansas on January 24th, Yale on January 25th, and Liberty on January 30th. This early road swing will provide valuable experience and an opportunity to build team cohesion.

February Focus: Home and Away

February opens with a return to the Hamlin/Hecht Tennis Centers, where the Quakers will welcome Saint Joseph’s and Delaware on Friday, February 6th. A brief pause for the Eastern College Athletic Conference Indoor Championships from February 13th-15th will see team members competing individually before the team returns to Philadelphia to face St. John’s & Wagner on February 22nd and South Florida on February 28th.

March Momentum and Midwest Challenge

The month of March will largely be a homestand for Penn, beginning with a match against Florida Atlantic on Sunday, March 1st. A trip to the Cary Leeds Tennis Center in New York City on March 7th will pit the Quakers against Cornell. The team will then venture into the Midwest, taking on Oklahoma State on March 10th and Tulsa on March 12th. Following the Midwest trip, Denver (March 15th) and Monmouth & Quinnipiac (March 19th) will visit University City, with Old Dominion (March 22nd) and Princeton (March 28th) rounding out the month’s competition.

Ivy League Finale in April

The season culminates in April with a series of crucial Ivy League matches. The Quakers will travel to Dartmouth on Saturday, April 4th, and Harvard on Sunday, April 5th. Columbia will then head south to Philadelphia on April 10th, followed by a final road match at Cornell on April 12th. Penn will close out the year with home matches against Yale on April 18th and Brown on April 19th.
