Sou‘Meow’, directed by Lal Jose and starring Bin Joseph (soubin shahir) and Mamta Mohandas, is all set for a theatrical release. The movie will be released on December 24 as a Christmas release.
Saub and Mamta Mohandas have teamed up for the first time to complete the censorship of the film. Meow censored with a Clean U certificate. The script of the film is written by Dr. Iqbal Kuttipuram. Along with Salim Kumar and Harishree Yusuf, the other characters in the film are two children and a cat. The film tells the story of Dastagir, a grocer from Aluva, his wife and three children.
This is Iqbal Kuttipuram’s fourth script for Lal Jose. The three previous films in the duo are Arabic Story, Diamond Necklace and Vikramaditya. Along with Salim Kumar and Harishree Yusuf, a handful of expatriate artists who have proved their mettle in overseas venues will also perform the characters. The characters are a Russian girl named Yasmina and a cat.
