Meta Connect 2026 brought a flurry of wearable tech hardware updates, anchored by a high-fashion collaboration with Blackpink star Lisa on a $399 custom smart glasses collection featuring star accents, pet-inspired blind box charms, and advanced spatial audio recording features across the broader line.
Smart glasses are stepping off the tech bench and onto the runway. At Meta Connect 2026, the company pulled back the curtain on its newest wearable partnerships and hardware iterations, led by an eye-catching line designed alongside international icon Lisa from Blackpink.
While tech enthusiasts often debate the utility of face-worn computing, Meta is leaning hard into aesthetic-driven appeal. The newly unveiled collection bridges the gap between everyday tech and high fashion, offering bespoke frames and accessories that mirror Lisa’s on-stage persona and off-duty style.
Meta Glasses by Lisa Collection, Pricing, and Blind Box Accessories
Developed over the span of a year to capture both the rock star on stage and the off-duty trendsetter, the Meta Glasses by Lisa collection launches at a starting price of $399. The high-fashion collaboration introduces two distinct frame silhouettes tailored for different style preferences and facial fits.
The lineup features the Meta Capri Lisa Edition, a cat-eye frame in an eclipse black finish paired with grey lenses, tailored for standard and low-bridge fits. The Meta Adventurer Lisa Edition is also available, offering a flexible modern design in either an eclipse frame with grey lenses or a moonlit sky frame with blush lenses. Both styles trade standard plastic finishes for star accents etched into the temple tips, three-way adjustable nose pads, and slip-reduction engineering.
What sets this release apart is an unexpected nod to collectible culture. Every pair ships inside a pocket-sized, quilted star charging case that delivers up to 40 hours of additional battery life. Inside, buyers find a blind box collectible charm.
The collaboration includes 12 different charms shaped like cute dogs in various poses and colors, paying homage to Lisa’s pets—her “L-Family”—and her well-documented love for blind boxes, with two extra-rare variants in the mix. Buyers also unlock digital perks during setup, including a shareable digital Lisa photocard for Instagram Stories and a custom sticker pack for Instagram and Meta AI, with more photocards dropping over time in the Meta AI app.
Ray-Ban Meta Gen 3 Upgrades and Global Footprint Expansion
Beyond the celebrity capsule, Meta refreshed its core hardware ecosystem at the event, unveiling new Meta VR Glasses and the first-ever cameraless Ray-Ban Meta Audio glasses. The flagship Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 3) line arrives with a price bump to $449, bringing key performance adjustments and hardware refinements.
The third-generation flagship increases continuous battery life by one hour, reaching nine hours of use on a single charge. Comfort improvements include flexible temple tips designed to alleviate pressure on wider face shapes. On the audio and capture front, a new six-microphone array cuts background noise by up to 90% during phone calls and AI queries, while the 12-megapixel camera retains 3K video recording.

Future software updates were also detailed by Meta, featuring Dolby Atmos support for capturing 360-degree spatial audio later this year and a Dynamic Photo tool designed to pick the optimal shot from several frames. Meta also introduced an accessibility feature for mild to moderate hearing loss, available for a $150 annual fee or via a Meta One subscription.
Meta also expanded its global retail reach. Smart glasses are officially available starting today in South Korea, Singapore, Mexico, and the United Arab Emirates, with a scheduled launch in Brazil.
Targeting New Price Points and Expanding the Ecosystem
To lower the barrier to entry, Meta introduced a black Adventurer frame paired with a plug-in charging case for $249, shaving $50 off the usual $299 base price. Non-celebrity collections also grew with new Ray-Ban Zena cat-eye styles, classic Aviators, and a first-party Nova design that mirrors Ray-Ban’s Headliner aesthetic.

Meta also refreshed its existing Kylie Jenner collab with a new Ivory Starfire frame. While Meta continues to work with EssilorLuxottica experts on designs, the Meta-branded specs are positioned to be more accessible as they do not carry the same price premium as a named brand.
Despite the fashion-forward styling, the Lisa edition glasses retain full computational capabilities. They feature a 12MP camera, open-ear speakers, prescription lens support, and Meta AI voice features that let users query what they are looking at, receive local recommendations, share live locations, or route music playback through Spotify. The six-microphone array also enables real-time voice translation when traveling abroad.
