The world of professional wrestling may soon welcome a fierce competitor from the MMA arena. Regina ‘Kill Bill’ Tarín, a 21-year-old Mexican mixed martial arts fighter, has received a direct invitation to try out for World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), a move that could redefine her athletic career. Tarín, currently undefeated with a 7-0 record, announced the opportunity on her social media channels, expressing her excitement for the challenge.
What makes Regina Tarín stand out? Her aggressive fighting style, consistent performance, and impressive finishing rate have quickly established her as a rising star in the world of women’s MMA. Born October 19, 2004, in Mexico City, Tarín competes in the women’s bantamweight division.
Tarín confirmed she will travel to the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, on Sunday, January 11, to participate in the evaluation. “I’ve had this news for a while now. If I do something, I always shoot for the best. I’ve been invited to the WWE tryouts. Being the only Mexican invited, I feel super happy! Believe me, I’ll give a show and above all, I’ll have too much fun. The time has come! I’m ready to give a show baby,” she shared online.

Tarín’s professional MMA journey began on December 1, 2023, at Budo Sento Championship Vol. 19, where she secured a first-round submission victory over Citlalli Alcantar. She followed this with a unanimous decision win against Andrea Garcia in April 2024. Returning to BSC, she captured the inaugural women’s bantamweight championship in a fourth-round TKO victory against Luisa Fernanda Cifuentes.
Her success extends to Global Combat, where she defeated Fernanda Marrufo by submission and Gisela Luna by technical knockout, both in the first round. A June 2025 TKO win against Kaytlin Neil further solidified her record. Although previously scheduled for Dana White’s Contender Series, she remained undefeated with a victory over Yurivia Jiménez in Costa Rica.

This potential transition represents a historic opportunity for Tarín, and for Mexican representation within WWE. The company is clearly taking notice of an athlete who brings not only a flawless record but also a compelling presence and undeniable athleticism to the table.
