Indian customers tend to give more importance to black colored cars. Therefore, various leading companies are introducing ‘Dark Edition’ models in their existing cars for sale. MG is no exception to this.

MG refers to its Dark Edition models as BlackStorm. Blackstrom Edition models have already been introduced in MG Gloster and MG Astor. In this line, the MG Hector line of cars has now introduced the Blakström Edition models for sale. The MG Hector Blokström Edition is available in 5-seater, 6-seater and 7-seater models. Its starting price is fixed at 21.25 lakh rupees. This is ex-showroom price.

But it should be noted here that this is an introductory offer price. Only the first 250 people who book will get the MG Hector Blokström Edition at this price. It is expected that the price may increase after that. Officially launched, the MG Hector Blokström Edition has now started hitting showrooms across the country.

So it is expected that the delivery works can be started as soon as possible. The MG Hector Blokström Edison is available with a total of 2 engine options, a 1.5-litre petrol and a 2.0-litre diesel. The petrol engine has been tuned to produce a maximum power of 141 bhp and 250 Nm of torque.

Along with this engine, 6-speed manual and CVT gearbox options are offered. The diesel engine, on the other hand, has been tuned to produce a maximum power of 168 bhp and 350 Nm of torque. Only a 6-speed manual gearbox option is offered with this engine. As far as amenities are concerned, the highlights include level 2 ADS, panoramic sunroof, front ventilated seats, large touchscreen infotainment system and digital instrument cluster.

Apart from all these, wireless smartphone connectivity, wireless cell phone charger, ambient lighting, 360-degree camera, automatic climate control and 6 airbags are the most important features of the MG Hector Blokström Edition model.

Also, it is worth noting that compared to the regular MG Hector, the Blokström Edition model has received a lot of design changes both inside and out. We can also see ‘Blockstrom’ badges on this new model.
