Vtwenty-seven years after the first screening of Heatwhich featured the confrontation of Al Pacino in the role of Lieutenant Vincent Hanna and Robert De Niro in Neil McCauley, the leader of the robbers, Michael Mann chooses to return to his masterpiece in the form of a titled novel Heat 2.

An unexpected shape, but a consistent background. This novel immerses us again in the chaos of shootouts, ambushes and chases in armored vans with a masterful construction. By entangling prequel and sequel, Mann juggles eras and temporal consequences.
