Most recently, Michel Houellebecq attracted attention because of his comments on Islam. Now you can see him in a film trailer during foreplay with a young blonde. So is France’s star writer switching to porn? Why he will definitely pull through this film.
AWhen his latest book, Destroy, was published, Michel Houellebecq gave a single interview while lying fully clothed on his bed. This time he’s naked and his fandom gets to watch him have sex. Dutch artist collective Kirac (Keeping It Real Art Critics) has released a trailer in which France’s star writer can be seen hugging and kissing a young blonde woman in bed at a luxury hotel in Amsterdam. It’s just foreplay. Hard to say how the whole thing will continue and how hot Houellebecq, 66, actually is. In any case, shirtless, he looks like the “old, sick turtle” he describes himself as in his novel “Map and Territory”.
Is this art or porn? The culture industry will answer this question on March 11th when the film premieres at the Betty Asfalt Theater in Amsterdam. The trailer only reveals the deal: After the wedding, Houellebecq’s young Chinese wife spent a lot of time organizing the honeymoon in Morocco and booking high-class prostitutes for her husband. But then the trip had to be canceled at the last minute because of threats of attacks. “I told him that I know a lot of prostitutes in Amsterdam who would like to sleep with him out of curiosity,” says Stefan Ruitenbeek of Kirac, the company whose mission is “the search for love in the form of truth”. it says on the collective’s website. The IBAN follows a paragraph later if you want to support the search for truth with donations. The only condition: the camera must be present.
Interestingly, Houellebecq’s late career as a porn actor did not cause a stir in France. After days of making headlines with his name for anti-Islamic remarks, the details of his sex life seem to have less click potential. The libertarian remnants have not yet been completely canceled in French society.

It’s not Kirac’s first coup.
