Speaking about this last Thursday, Microsoft’s Vice President Brad Smith announced that ‘Microsoft will provide $100 million worth of additional technical services to Ukraine for free throughout the next year 2023’.
Through this, he said in his post that the country’s government institutions, main structures and all the main services of Ukraine can be built through Microsoft cloud technology and most importantly, Microsoft will help in getting all kinds of digital services.
Ukraine is suffering its worst economic recession since the war with Russia began last February. And it is forced to depend on other countries for even basic needs. While various countries are providing aid to Ukraine in various ways, Microsoft seems to be helping Ukraine’s technological development and e-commerce services.
Microsoft is also expected to extend its support to Ukraine until the country fully recovers from the effects of the war.
Microsoft has been helping Ukraine since the war broke out in February. To date, Microsoft has provided technical assistance worth more than $400 million to Ukraine. Ukraine is receiving various assistance from its allies to defend itself.

Ukraine has received aid from not only Microsoft but also many other tech companies. Through this, Smith said that he is helping the country of Ukraine and its people.
Microsoft is providing its digital technology services to Ukraine by establishing its data centers across Europe.
According to a report released by Microsoft last June, Microsoft has made these facilities to improve security and development of Ukraine’s digital data. Microsoft has protected Ukraine’s sensitive information despite Russia’s missile attacks on Ukraine, Smith said.
