New prices go into effect July 10, 2024 for new members
Those with an active subscription will pay more after 12 September 2024
Microsoft just announced a series of changes to Xbox Game Pass, the subscription service that allows access Catalog of the gamesit opens the doors to online multiplayer and also offers other benefits such as discounts on purchases.

Here’s what the prices look like on Xbox Game Pass
If you’re currently subscribed to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Xbox Game Pass Core, or Game Pass for PC, you won’t be affected by the increase yet. The new prices will take effect on the next billing charge thereafter September 12, 2024.
Users who subscribe on or after July 10, 2024, ie new subscribers, will be required to pay the updated rates.

As we mentioned above, Microsoft has decided to say goodbye to Xbox Game Pass for console. This means that this level will not accept new members from now on. If you have an active subscription, and if you have paid for automatic activation renewal, you will be able to continue using this subscription.
Say hello to the new Xbox Game Pass Standard
The changes come with the announcement of a new level known as Xbox standard game. As the name suggests, we are not facing the most complete option (nor the most expensive option) from the Redmond company. The main difference from the rest of the tiers is that it won’t include games from launch day.
The other tier that doesn’t include games from launch is Xbox Game Pass Core. To give an example, ‘Call of Duty: Black Ops 6’ on launch day (later this year) will only come to Game Pass Ultimate, Xbox Game Pass for PC and Xbox Game Pass for console levels.
Xbox Game Pass Standard, however, will offer all the benefits of Game Pass Core, such as online multiplayer and offers and discounts, along with a catalog of “hundreds of high-quality console games.” It should still be noted no date is specified to send it.
Microsoft says the new series will be available “in the coming months.” Likewise, it was announced that it will be priced at $14.99. We will have to wait for it to arrive and know what the prices will be in Spain and other countries.
