The new plugins link various applications in the operating system and on the computer, and the new component called “Copilot” (co-pilot). Through the pilot, you can make requests from the artificial intelligence in the windows, from ordering delivery, requesting recipes, shopping lists to preparing lectures. These will allow using the AI features faster, and according to the company “smarter”.
At the end of March, another update will arrive that will allow using the co-pilot to change elements and functions in your operating system, such as changing battery saving programs, and accessibility adjustments such as increasing text or changing screen contrast. The improvements are expected to generate handsome profits for Microsoft: the thread connecting those plugins is Microsoft’s ability to track the queries that will be presented to the artificial intelligence, so that it can offer you deals through its advertisers and partners.
Microsoft also announced the addition of new features to the cloud-based “Windows 365” service, which forces more and more users, especially when browsing the websites of public institutions such as universities, to log into an account with authentication. The new development, the company hinted, will no longer require the use of a password.
