Military Industry Delivers Several Types of Drones to Security Services

The Military Industrialization Authority announced the delivery of several types of drones to the security services.

The head of the authority, Mustafa Ati Hassan, told the (INA): “The authority has begun producing types of drones due to their great importance, after its success in producing some types of reconnaissance drones,” indicating that “the authority has delivered some of the drones to the security services.”
He added, “The Military Industrialization Authority is working jointly with the Ministry of Interior to localize a new type of these aircraft and localize this important technology,” indicating that “a few days ago there was a joint experiment with the Border Forces to supply the Ministry of Interior with a significant number of reconnaissance drones.”
For his part, Hamid Abdul Hilal, Senior Chief Engineer at the General Company for Military Industries, told the (INA), “We have the (Guardian) project to produce reconnaissance aircraft, and its goal is civil-military, not just military,” noting that “the cadres in the company are advanced engineering and technical cadres.”
He continued: “We started working on the Falcon One project, then Falcon Two, and then the Guardian project, and we have other studies,” indicating that “our preparation depends on what each government department requests based on what it needs.”
