The wave of Eid festival is known as ‘Mini Cox’s Bazar’ in the sand ground of Dharmikpara, Konapara, Demra of the capital. This mini Cox’s Bazar is crowded even on the third day of Eid with the crowd of colorfully dressed visitors. It is like a gathering of people of all ages. From children to the elderly, the presence is visible. Children came holding hands of parents and old people came holding hands of sons and daughters. But the presence of young people is not less. It can be seen on the surface, in the afternoon, the bank of the reservoir is filled to the brim. Although many have started coming since morning. Crowds were noticed in front of the children’s rides. But there was no lack of interest from the concerned authorities. Additional events are organized considering the interests of incoming visitors. This huge entertainment center is a completely private initiative and has already become the main source of entertainment for children. Hotels, restaurants have decorated to increase customer attraction. A wide range of food items were seen in various food shops. Shops for women’s accessories have also sprung up. Open water all around. This entertainment center built in the middle of the night adds to the beauty of the night. Due to the good transportation system, people also gather comfortably. However, the emergence of battery-powered auto rickshaws caused suffering.
A boat trip in open water near the capital is also very enjoyable. Visitors rent small boats. Anyone would love to swim in the waveless clear water.
