Tijuana BC.- By January 1st the minimum wage will be close to 400 pesos dailyannounced the president of the Mexican Republic, Andrés Manuel López Obrador.
During the second report of Government of Marina del Pilar Ávila Olmedathe president assured that the remuneration will reach said figure, which he said is added to the 180% increase who has had the salary.
Salary increase
López Obrador affirmed that the increases in minimum salary have been agreed upon between the labor sector and the business sector.
Through the National Commission for the Protection and Defense of Users of Financial Services (Condusef), the federal administration raised the minimum wage from 88.40 pesos per day to 312.41 pesos.
