Thiruvananthapuram: Actor Jayasurya has finally cursed Vagamon Road for criticizing the Public Works Department. Minister Mohammad Riyaz said the technical approval for the project would be given today. The minister’s assurance was given to an Iratupetta resident who had complained to him over the phone. The Vagamon Road issue came up again during a program where the minister listens to complaints about the public works road directly over the phone.
A project of `19.9 crore has been prepared for the Erattupetta-Vagamon road. The project was given administrative approval yesterday. According to the Public Works Department, the work will start soon. During the hour-long program, the Minister directly addressed several complaints. Officials were immediately instructed over the phone for immediate redressal of grievances and the complainants were reassured.
