Thiruvananthapuram: The government has decided to build another cabinet in the state. The new building will be on the premises of Rose House, the residence of Education Minister V Sivankutty. Although there are 21 ministers, including the chief minister, there are only 20 official residences. The new building is being constructed for Minister V Abdurahman, who lives in a rented house.

There are seven other ministerial buildings on the premises of the Cliff House where the Chief Minister resides. Prashanth, Periyar, Pournami, Ashoka, Nest, Pampa, Essen Den. The Leader of the Opposition’s Cantonment House complex has four ministries. Cauvery, Ganges, Nila, Grace. Manmohan Bungalow, Ajanta and Kawadiar House are located near the Raj Bhavan.
