According to the press release, the officials and employees of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and the agencies under its jurisdiction have submitted a check of Tk 33 lakh 83 thousand 393 as a day’s salary for the people affected by the severe flood.

In view of the interest of the officials and employees of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and the departments under its jurisdiction, a decision was taken on August 25 to provide assistance to the flood victims with the equivalent of one day’s salary.
