Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan published a list of police officers who died during the riots

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan has published a list of law enforcement officers who died during the riots. The agency Sputnik Kazakhstan reports.

It is noted that there are seven people on the list. Among the dead are a police captain, a police chief, a senior police sergeant in Alma-Ata, an ensign of justice, two privates and a junior sergeant of the police department of the Zhambyl region.

In early January, protests took place in Kazakhstan, which escalated into riots in several cities. More than a thousand people were injured.
