As every year, the ONE site gets its hands on Maccabi Tel Aviv’s financial reports and after the exclusive publication from last December of the entire club’s budget, now the monitoring of the youth department budgeting by owner Mitch Goldhar continues, as well as a breakdown of some of the senior earners in the department.
The latest report received by ONE refers to the tax year of 2023 which came to an end recently. During the past civil year, the budget of the youth department of the Yellows was 26,367,000 NIS, with the person who covered about half of this amount being the owner Mitch Goldhar, who transferred 13,500,000 NIS for the department.
For comparison, in 2023, in order to cover previous deficits in the department, Goldhar transferred approximately NIS 24 million. It is true that this is a decrease in the direct budget of the owner, but after the recovery of the budget deficit in the department was completed, the amount transferred in the Canadian 2023 also led to the fact that the department finished with a budget surplus of over half a million NIS and of course as the department in which the highest amount of money is invested in Israel.

After him on the list, you can find the Dutch Robin Perhol, who for several years has been defined by the club as the activity coordinator in the academy and football schools in the north of the city. The salary of the Dutchman was about 560 thousand NIS including related expenses.
The administrative director of the department is also on the list of salary leaders and in 2023 he earned about NIS 660 thousand gross including related expenses. The senior coach in the department in that tax year earned about NIS 360,000 gross and the goalkeeping coach, Shura Obarov, about NIS 400,000 gross.
