Two Suspects Arrested in Connection to Shooting of 9-Year-Old Girl in Mobile
MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – The Mobile Police Department (MPD) has announced the arrest of two suspects in connection to the shooting of a 9-year-old girl on Rhett Drive.
Police identified the suspects as Tyrone Williams, 19, and Ariel Curry, 22. They have been taken into custody and will be charged with felony murder in connection to the shooting.
Additionally, Williams and Curry will also face charges of shooting into an occupied building for a separate incident that occurred on December 5 at the 1000 block of Racine Drive.
The arrests come as a relief to the community and the family of the young girl who was injured in the shooting. MPD has been working diligently to apprehend the suspects and bring them to justice.
The investigation into the shooting is ongoing, and MPD is urging anyone with information to come forward and assist in the case.
