Guinean singer and guitarist Moh! Kouyaté releases a new album “ Mokhoya » which means humanism in Malinké. He returns with his eclectic music, nourished by his griot roots, and nourished with sounds from elsewhere, such as blues, rock, funk, traditional Mandingo music and Afrobeat. Music that transcends borders.

« Mokhoya » is the name of Moh!’s new album! Kouyaté, the Guinean singer and guitarist whose hit “ Don’t go – it’s not okay » had vibrated the airwaves of Radio France Internationale.

After his latest project “Guinea music all star” in which he brought old Guinean classics up to date, Moh! Kouyaté returns today with a new, gentle album recorded in an intimate format.

A kora, his guitar but also two more unexpected instruments: the cello and the trumpet to once again celebrate the mixtures and to carry his modern-day griot song.

Love, hope, but not only that, Moh! Kouyaté takes us on a journey.

Moh! Kouyaté is the guest of VMDN.

Reportage : From Saint-Paul on Reunion Island, Emma Garboud-Lorenzoni presents one of the themes of the new edition of the Kromali festival: nature. Placed at the center of the festival, all the invited artists worked on the link that unites us to the world. An ecological and artistic reflection which was expressed in different ways, whether street art, street theater, or dance.
