This morning, temperatures across Hong Kong generally hovered around 18 degrees Celsius, prompting many to reach for long sleeves and jackets. The weather forecast predicts a mostly cloudy day with scattered showers early on. While conditions will remain cooler this morning, the maximum temperature is anticipated to reach approximately 22 degrees Celsius later in the day.
Winds will be moderate to strong, originating from the north and intensifying offshore. Residents and mariners should exercise caution due to the potential for strong gusts and large waves.
Coastal Flood Risk and Harbor Conditions

The Observatory reports that Victoria Harbor is expected to see water levels rise to around 3 meters above the chart datum. “Some low-lying areas may be flooded during high tide in the evening,” a senior official stated.
