Massive Fire Engulfs Abandoned Printing House in Montreal‘s Sud-Ouest Borough
A meaningful fire ripped through a former printing house in Montreal’s Sud-Ouest borough overnight,prompting a large-scale response from the Montreal Fire Department (SIM). The blaze, which began shortly after 3 a.m.on Monday, caused ample damage to the two-story building located on Saint-Jacques Street, near Lenoir Street.
The SIM received the initial emergency call in the early hours of Monday morning, promptly dispatching a substantial force to combat the rapidly escalating situation. Approximately 80 firefighters were mobilized to tackle the “gigantic blaze,” according to reports, and worked tirelessly to bring it under control.

Fortunately,no injuries were reported consequently of the incident.The building, which had been vacant for an unspecified period, sustained significant structural damage.
