This is what emerges from a research carried out by Check Point Research (Cpr), the Threat Intelligence division of Check Point Software Technologies.

In particular, industry organizations find themselves engaged in a cybersecurity battle like never before. In July 2021, India experienced the highest volume of cyberattacks with an average of 5,196 attacks per week. They are followed by Italy, which had an average of 5,016 and Israel, with 4,011 attacks per week.

In 2020, the company recalls in the study, “the Covid-19 pandemic forced organizations to suddenly move to primarily remote work.
