We already have here the provisional 2024 calendar of the World Superbike Championship, a season that will again consist of a total of 12 rounds and that, unlike previous years, will focus the majority of its races in Europe, with only one exit outside our continent, in addition to giving entry to two new circuits.

The 2024 campaign will begin, as usual, in Australia, where an official two-day test will first be held (February 19 and 20) before the start of the school year on the weekend of February 24 and 25. lPhillip Island will be the only non-European race which will form the WorldSBK calendar this year after confirming the withdrawals from the Indonesia and Argentina events, absent this year.

The first European race will be held on March 23 and 24and it will be in Spain, at the Circuit de Barcelona Catalunya. Almost a month later it will be Assen’s turn (April 20-21), and then there will be a two-month break until the fourth round of the year, Misano (June 15-16), then following with two more races in July, those of Donington Park (July 13-14) and Mostin the Czech Republic (July 20-21).

WorldSBK won’t stop in August, with two races to be held in Portimao (August 10-11) and in the circuit of Balaton Park (August 24-25), a racing track located in the town of Zalacsány, near Lake Balaton, in Hungary, which is making its debut in the championship. The circuit was inaugurated in 2019, has a length of 4.2 kilometers and has 16 curves, alternating fast and slow areas.

Italy will host another race in September, but this time it will not be in Imola. The championship welcomes another track, the Cremona circuit (September 21-22) located in the Italian city of Cremona, in the Lombardy region, one of the oldest in the world (it opened in 1954).

The last two rounds of the 2024 academic year will be held in Spain, the first in Aragon (September 28-29) and finally the Jerez Circuit (October 12-13) as the end of the party.
