Just four days before the intriguing game of Maccabi Haifa against PSG at Parc de France, another attempt was made to change the decision of the star team – to allocate only 1,500 tickets. It was signed by the mayor of Haifa, Einat Rotem Kalish, who sent a letter to the mayor of Paris, Ann Hidalgo, requesting assistance in the matter.

“There is great anticipation for the game,” she wrote cliche“Many fans from Haifa are planning to come to it and recently I realized that many of them are encountering difficulties in purchasing tickets. We are several days away from the game and I wonder if we can talk soon to see what can be done to solve it.”

Although Haifa only received about 1,500 tickets for its fans, a much larger amount is planned and 5,000 green fans are expected in Paris. The club itself is trying to get 900 more tickets and the club hopes that Klish’s letter will help in the campaign of persuasion.

As a reminder, Haifa beat Juventus 0:2 in their last match in the Champions League and actually two games remain in the group stage: against PSG, who won here in Israel 1:3 in the previous meeting, and against Benfica at the Sami Ofer Stadium.
