Mr. Boussouf, who‍ led the inaugural course of the Faculty of Letters and Human Sciences of Marrakech under the theme‍ “Morocco in the world:⁢ Cultural and civilizational challenges,” highlighted ‌the crucial role of elites⁤ in promoting cultural values. He emphasized the university’s central​ role in this endeavor.

“We face significant challenges today, and we must address‍ them on both the⁣ cultural and ethical‍ levels,”‌ he stated, emphasizing Morocco’s potential to play a leading role in this regard. This ​potential is evident⁤ in the abundance ⁢of educational, cultural, and family institutions, as well as⁤ in ⁤educational programs ‍designed to instill these values⁣ in ⁢younger ⁤generations.

In his ⁤speech, ⁣Mr.⁣ Boussouf also acknowledged the unique interaction ⁢between the Jewish, Christian, and Islamic ⁣components of Moroccan culture.‍ He stressed that moderation in Morocco is not defined by religion, but rather by the Moroccan way of life, making the Kingdom a global model of ​tolerance and understanding.

He further emphasized‍ the‍ need to build a societal project based on Morocco’s ancestral values, particularly emphasizing solidarity, as a solution to the​ challenges facing humanity in the modern era.

Additionally,⁢ Mr. Boussouf ‍called on Cadi Ayyad University to ⁢collaborate ⁣with the CCME in creating an encyclopedia on the city of Marrakech. This initiative recognizes Marrakech’s central role in the development and preservation of‍ Moroccan heritage⁤ across various‌ disciplines.

The dean of the Faculty of Letters and Human Sciences of Marrakech, Abdeljalil Lokrifa,​ added that this inaugural course aligns with the national strategy to prioritize ​the universality ​of Moroccan culture and civilization, as well as its ‌cultural and identity dimensions.
