Morocco Prioritizes Youth Under King Mohammed VI’s Leadership
Rabat – The Kingdom of Morocco, under the enlightened leadership of HM King Mohammed VI, places youth at the center of its concerns, affirmed Sunday in Lugano (Switzerland), the Minister of Youth, Culture and Communication, Mohamed Mehdi Bensaid.
Mr. Bensaid, speaking at the 6th Middle East-Mediterranean Summer Summit, highlighted the high concern with which the Sovereign surrounds this category of society. This concern is reflected in various national programs dedicated to Moroccan youth.
The minister also stressed the importance of providing young people from the Middle East and Mediterranean region with the opportunity to interact with officials and decision-makers. He emphasized the need to strengthen cohesion between peoples and States while respecting cultural specificities.
Furthermore, Mr. Bensaid highlighted the crucial role cultural diplomacy plays in international relations, particularly in establishing peace and promoting development in a global context marked by significant geopolitical changes, climate change, and rising unemployment.
