The Russian army conducted a test launch of an intercontinental ballistic missile from a mobile land-based missile system.
The Russian Ministry of Defense said in a statement: “On April 12, 2024, a combat crew from the Strategic Missile Forces successfully launched an intercontinental ballistic missile belonging to a mobile ground-based missile system, from the Kapustin Yar test range, the fourth central state affiliated in the Astrakhan region.”
