The meteorological center warns that wind gusts may persist in the Moscow region until November 7. “The degree of intensity of hazardous phenomena: yellow – the weather is potentially dangerous.”
Earlier, the Moscow Emergencies Directorate warned that fog with a visibility of 200-700 m is expected in Moscow on the night of November 4-5.
On the evening of November 1, thick fog enveloped Moscow and other territories in central Russia, as well as outside the country. More than 200 flights were delayed or canceled due to fog at Moscow airports. In addition, the fog caused the temporary blocking of the Bosphorus and Dardanelles straits for transit ships. The hydrometeorological center explained the fog as an anticyclone.
