The growing family business of mother Vilma and daughter Monika is the creation of eternal beauty using stabilized plants. Vilma does not hide that she discovered floristry after turning 40 thanks to the Employment Service, but while working in a flower salon, she could not accept the temporary nature of cut flowers. With care, concern and passion, the mother-daughter duo has mastered the art of preserving nature’s ephemeral treasures.

“My mother is a living example that it is never too late for a blooming woman. And by immersing herself in exceptional floristry, she confidently proved that not only a woman, but also a flower can bloom forever after blooming once,” says her mother’s main supporter, inspiration, motivator, business partner daughter Monika. According to her, “sleeping roses” were the first to spread in Lithuania, so the slang of “sleeping plants” is still often used when talking about stabilized plants.

When asked to describe what a stabilized plant is, the women say it is a flower/plant that, when picked in its most beautiful state, no longer develops. With the help of a special technique, the plant becomes eternal, but its appearance is as if it was just picked. “If an artificial flower is a thing, it is stabilized – it is the same cut that you can buy in any salon, but it will not wither and will delight you for many years without changing its appearance,” explains Vilma.

Stabilized flowers, compositions and plants have an elegance that is not subject to seasonality. Whether as a bridal bouquet or as part of an interior, these ever-blooming flowers remain as vibrant and enchanting as the day they were created.

“Imagine coming to your vacation home once every six months, and the flower arrangements there bloom continuously and do not require any additional care: no water changes, no watering. That is why these plants are loved by people who are constantly in a hurry and cannot devote time to flower care. Following a few easy rules, stabilized plants will be happy forever,” says daughter Monika.

Stabilized plants are the future. When choosing these plants, consumerism is reduced and sustainability is promoted. It is an ecological and economical solution.

“People who value all these things should look for stabilized plants. It is true that for now you really need to look for them, for example, my mother and I are currently in a completely unattractive place in terms of logistics, we do not have a luxurious salon with a representative interior, but all the external factors causing inconvenience are not an obstacle when the product is needed.

Therefore, we feel an increasing flow of customers who often return through recommendations or become regular customers. We feel a responsibility towards them and dream more and more boldly about greater and easier availability of our plants”, the women are happy.

The feature that most admires customers is frugality, because they often estimate what the costs of constantly renewing live flowers would be. Stabilized plants have a huge advantage here as well. I like the fashionable possibility of reducing sustainability and consumerism, when those who develop mountains are represented by one stabilized bouquet.

What’s more, the mother and daughter tried to fulfill the compositions to the maximum, and the addressee did not have to worry about the vases, so they present the flowers creatively – in various vases, in delicate boxes while maintaining exclusivity and an aesthetic image.

Stabilized plants, which are still leading the way in Lithuania, are constantly used in interior decoration in the world: from fragile flower blossoms to giant stabilized trees. It is true that already in Šiauliai you can see not only private homes, but also businesses decorating the environment with them: “Increasingly, we receive not only private individuals, but also various customers from the business sector who are looking for interior solutions, unique gifts for business partners.”
