Mexico City, February 6, 2026 – At 42, Colombian actress Carolina Ramírez is expecting her first child, a surprise announcement that reflects a shift in her viewpoint on motherhood. The star of the Queen of Flow revealed she’s six months along with partner Martín Cornide, choosing to share the news after keeping it private for nearly half a year.
“During these almost six months, Martín and I decided to keep this miracle in silence,” Ramírez wrote in a social media post.”I always said that I would be a mother when the stars aligned and they finally aligned,” revealing the joy she feels during this new chapter.
A New Pace: Pregnancy Away From the Spotlight
Ramírez is embracing a slower pace, spending her pregnancy in the tranquility of the Mayan jungle in Mexico.
Currently based in mexico, Ramírez explained she’s stepping away from the demands of filming to connect with nature. “Our present and our biggest project today happen far from the sets, in this Mayan jungle that has brought me peace and a lot of healing,” she shared, emphasizing that becoming a mother is “the biggest project” of her life.
She confessed to feeling the pull of her “biological clock” and the pressure to have children, admitting, “At some point I wanted it…because your biological clock is triggered and you beleive, also due to social pressure, that the train is going to pass and that I am going to be left without children. I was scared.” She playfully acknowledged her current family, stating, “I don’t have children, but I have dog and cat children, furry children.”
Now, that perspective has evolved into a more deliberate and peaceful decision. This pregnancy arrives at a time of emotional stability, maturity, and a shared life project with her partner.
