MotoGp Qatar, Vinales and Rossi win only twelfth

Motogp Qatar, Maverick Vinales’ Yamaha wins. Valentino Rossi twelfth. On the Losail circuit, the Spaniard, after passing Francesco Bagnaia with 8 laps to go, managed to take more and more advantage without risking anything. Big battle, however, behind him with Johann Zarco’s second place to the last breath on the Ducati Pramac that mocked the other Ducati-Lenovo of Pecco Bagnaia. Fourth Joa Mir who was almost on the podium until a mistake at the last corner. Fifth place for the other Yamaha of Fabio Quartararo.

Excellent performance by Bagnaia, who up to 8 laps from the end remained in the lead from the start of the race. Pecco suffers from tire degradation and closes in third position, with an incredible overtaking on Mir right on the finish line. In sixth place Alex Rins closed and good performance in April with Aleix Espargaró 7th, good tenth place for Enea Bastianini. The other Italians are more distant with the 12th place of Valentino Rossi and the 18th of Franco Morbidelli. Sam Lowes won the 2021 Qatar Moto2 GP at the Losail circuit, the first round of the season. Jaume Masia won the first race of the Moto3 World Championship. The Spaniard won the Qatar GP on the Losail track by beating his team mate Acosta in a sprint, and Binder finished third. Sixth place for Niccolò Antonelli, Suzuki finished ninth after starting from the last position.
