“Chelsea” head coach Jose Mourinho admitted in an interview with journalists that he did not accept Eden Hazard’s apology. The player missed the team’s training session on Monday because he missed the train on his way back from Lille.

After the 2-0 defeat at Newcastle, the manager rested his squad and Hazard traveled to France to watch his former team’s match. He intended to return to London by train, but was delayed. As a result, he did not manage to participate in the training, which caused Mourinho’s displeasure. That is why the Portuguese specialist did not include Hazard in the roster for the Champions League match with “Schalke” (3:0).

“The boy responded well and apologized to me and the club. Of course, that apology was not accepted because it is not something I can accept, but the case is closed. He is ready to play and has an appetite to play. I’m glad he’s back in the team. He is a good guy who made a mistake and knows about it,” Mourinho said.
