MRB poll: Cross-party vote for non-state universities

The second part of MRB poll for the television station OPEN.

Non-state universities

According to the poll, in favor of the establishment non-state universities 55.1% of respondents favor the country, with 23.6% answering “definitely yes” and 31.5% “probably yes”.

Disagreement with the government announcement is expressed by 38.9%, with respondents answering “probably not” in 10.5% and “definitely not” in 28.4%.

Regarding the solar distribution of the respondents, the younger ages (17 – 44 years) express disagreement, while the older ages express agreement, at a rate of 77.1% between 55 – 64 and 81.3% from 65 and over.

Regarding the distribution of the respondents based on their party preference, the voters of N.D. they agree with the establishment of non-state universities at a rate of 78.5%, while in the other parties the percentages of agreement are lower.

In particular, PASOK voters agree at a rate of 52.3%, SYRIZA voters at a rate of 30.5%, KKE voters at a rate of 37.2% and Hellenic Solution voters at a rate of 59.4%.

At the same time, for 51.4% of respondents, the establishment of non-state universities will push public universities to improve the quality of their studies. Disagreement with this formulation was expressed by 39.6%.

Afternoon surgeries at the NHS

In relation to the age distribution of the dissidents, the largest dissensions appear in the public from 35 to 64 years old.

“Winners” and “losers” from civil marriage equality

Also of interest are the opinions of citizens regarding who gained more from the passage of the same-sex couples and civil marriage equality bill.

According to the poll, New Democracy and Kyriakos Mitsotakis are the big winners (40%) followed by SYRIZA and Stefanos Kasselakis (37.9%), Hellenic Solution and Kyriakos Velopoulos (12%) and the KKE and Dimitris Koutsoubas (7.6%).

Mitsotakis’ lead in dealing with the challenges

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis is the one, according to the poll, who can better deal with the everyday issues of the citizens (health, education, crime, etc.), but also the issues of economy and foreign policy.

Next is Stefanos Kasselakis and in third place is the president of PASOK, Nikos Androulakis.

Popularity of political leaders

Finally, in terms of the popularity of political leaders, the prime minister remains in first place and is followed by Dimitris Koutsoumbas and Nikos Androulakis.

It is worth noting that the president of SYRIZA falls short of the favorable opinions of both the president of Hellenic Solution, Kyriakos Velopoulos, and the head of Plefsis Eleftheria, Zoe Constantopoulou.
