MSP maintains high quality standards in care for external users on a national scale – Ministry of Public Health

The Ministry of Public Health (MSP), with the purpose of knowing the level of satisfaction of external users, carried out a survey to analyze and evaluate the perception of the quality of the services provided at all levels of care, highlighting the services of care nationwide. This State portfolio sent the results of the satisfaction measurement to the Ministry of Labor, corresponding to the first semester of 2023.

Once the results have been analyzed, it is evident that the MSP maintains high quality standards regarding user care, and the administrative and assistance services provided by this institution.

The general level of satisfaction of the external user has a percentage of 87% focused on the quality of administrative and assistance services, while the level of satisfaction of the attention provided by the public servant amounts to 89%, this with respect to factors such as the kindness and responsiveness of the public servant who attended the user.

In reference to the waiting time from the user’s arrival at the health facility to care, the level of satisfaction is 88%. Similarly, 89% corresponds to the provision of information on the services provided in health establishments, as well as the explanation of medical results provided by health professionals to users. Regarding the identification of health professionals (they carry identifications with their name and surname in a clear and visible manner), there is a satisfaction level of 89%; and for the food service during the hospital stay, the level of satisfaction is 84%.

It is possible to highlight the percentage of satisfaction obtained for: Emergencies with a value of 85%, External Consultation with 89% and 84% in Hospitalization. For the allocation of technical aids for people with disabilities, a satisfaction percentage of 84% was obtained, and 87% in the issuance of the single health certificate and in the qualification or requalification of people with disabilities or disabling conditions.

Finally, the percentage of satisfaction in the attention to consultations, complaints, suggestions and requests for public information from the MSP, as well as the certification of the Breastfeeding Support Room was 91%.
